Sharing from Ratu Bagus Disciple

Om Swastyastu, we would like to compare our experiences and express our understanding while knowing the Ashram and studying with Ratu Bagus, from the very beginning of the Ashram until today. In the past, the Ashram was known as Taman Telaga Emas, where at that time we watched Ratu Bagus, Mama Istri, and the Balinese people build the Ashram from scratch with great sincerity and joy. And during our time with Ratu Bagus, we learned many things. Ratu Bagus always teaches love and opens the door for anyone who wants to come and study at the Ashram. There are things and principles that need to be considered in spiritual Bio Energy, namely the true or true self, as well as the untrue, which is always tempting and hindering the journey and spiritual improvement which we call “bad things” or self-burden.

Our burdens or negative spirits often lead us to things that are destructive to ourselves and others. Especially at this time, it is seen and felt clearly in the absence of Ida Ratu Bagus. Sometimes we are unconsciously directed to walk deviantly and not in accordance with the teachings that have been given by Ratu Bagus. Ratu always taught us to feel freedom, but organized by focusing on the soul. In the past, Ratu Bagus also often said that, there is no mind management but free your soul. However, the negative spirit of our mind always tries to manage the invisible and curb the freedom of our soul.

This doesn’t mean we are complaining, we just want to improve and not deviate from what we are all here to learn. Sometimes, our negative thoughts lead to an interest, where something that looks like politics and our egos are thick, without ever seeing the real culture and circumstances. The difference and hatred that is created, unconsciously makes all the narratives that develop as if they feel “I am Ratu’s person” and feel that they can do everything without the slightest use of taste. We must remember, knowing Ratu Bagus should be with feeling not with opinions and narrations that are exhaled by the left and right views.

That is how powerful the mind is so that what we do, we feel it is right, whereas by awakening our feelings, we will know what exactly should be done to maintain the good name and teachings of Ratu Bagus. Ratu also once advised us not to follow negative thoughts, then do karma, which will then damage ourselves and others. Ratu also invited all of us to unite in our souls and follow our conscience, which is the most right for our beloved Ashram, not to disturb the order that he has bequeathed to us for future generations. Do not spread hatred, because it will all turn back on us. Indeed, in a process of spiritual improvement there will be two things that appear, namely the good and the bad, continue it all until you find purity, that’s what Ratu Bagus often tells us. Create and narrate the goodness we get to the people, not the badness. That is the way to help ease the burden of this nature which is already very heavy.

This Ashram was built on the foundation of the sincerity of all the sisya, both those who live in the Ashram and those who live outside the Ashram, where every opportunity they come for shaking and then work together. All of them have contributed to the majestic standing until now. We are all brothers, we are all brothers united by energy. Let’s not tarnish our ashram that we have built with sweat and extraordinary challenges.

What makes us feel very grateful and touched, when what became Ratu Bagus’s noble ideals are now continued by his son. What we never expected, when our hearts felt empty, was treated by the presence of Gde / Jero Lanang who exactly followed Ratu Bagus’s steps. It did not happen immediately, because we also had to struggle to explore the feelings within ourselves until we finally realized his presence. We tried to find out, get closer and feel what was really happening, not believing it with worldly knowledge. When we found that feeling, our hearts felt jolted, moved and happy. If we love Ratu with our “eyes”, we will definitely feel lost, but if we love Ratu with our “heart”, then Ratu will always be present wherever we are. Ratu Bagus, He is our only teacher.
